According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the projected employment rate for registered nurses is expected to grow by 6% between 2022 and 2032.

1. Healthcare Leaders Scholarship

The Nurse.org Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine at an accredited institution.
  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Applicant must be 17 years old or older.

2. NurseRecruiter.com Nursing Scholarship – Summer

  • Applicant must be enrolled in or admitted to a nursing degree program approved by a state board of nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education at a school eligible to participate in the Federal student financial assistance programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended.

NurseRecruiter.com is proud to offer the Nursing Scholarship to students who want to further their education and make the world a better place. The Fall scholarship opens when the Summer Scholarship ends (start applying on 5/16/2024).

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in or admitted to a nursing degree program approved by a state board of nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education at a school eligible to participate in the Federal student financial assistance programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended.

4. NursingExams.org Nursing Scholarship

đź’° Award Amount: $1,000

📆 Deadline: 6/1/2024

Scholarship Provider: NursingExams.org

A scholarship will be awarded by NursingExams.org to increase access to the college education necessary to become a nurse.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must plan on becoming a nurse.
  • Applicant must be accepted at or planning to attend an accredited college or university within the United States.
  • Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a nursing field.
  • Applicant must be continuing their studies in the upcoming academic year.
  • Applicant must have at least 30 semester or 45 quarter degree hours remaining.
  • Applicant must agree to provide NursingExams.org with a digital photograph and quote to be displayed on the site should they receive the award.
  • Applicant must be 18 years old or older.

Scholarship Provider: Diversity Nursing

Now in its 16th year, Diversity Nursing offers a scholarship to students enrolled in an accredited nursing school pursuing a nursing program.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited School of Nursing in a professional registered nurse program (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree or diploma) OR work Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem as a Registered Nurse, LPN, Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Leader/Administrator at a U.S. based organization.

6. Underrepresented Student Nursing School Scholarship

đź’° Award Amount: $1,000

Scholarship Provider: NursingExams.org

A scholarship for historically underrepresented students will be awarded by NursingExams.org to increase access to the education necessary to become a nurse.

7. QGenda – AACN Scholarship – Summer

Scholarship Provider: QGenda and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing

 QGenda, a leader in healthcare workforce management solutions, has joined with AACN on a new scholarship program for students in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in an entry-level baccalaureate program.
  • Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA.
  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. 
  • Applicant must provide one academic or professional reference. 
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an AACN member school.

8. The Anders Scholarship

đź’° Award Amount: $1,000

📆 Deadline: 7/30/2024

Scholarship Provider: Anders Group

The Anders Group honors Allied Health, Nursing, and Therapy professionals who put their lives on hold to help others by awarding $1,000 to a student with a unique appreciation and perspective of the medical field.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in a college or trade program. 
  • Applicant must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

9. AvaCare Medical Scholarship

đź’° Award Amount: $1,000

Scholarship Provider: AvaCare Medical

The AvaCare Medical Scholarship recognizes those who are working to better the lives of our customers, students who are pursuing a degree in the medical field.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card.
  • Applicant must be a high school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, etc.

10. Healthcare Professional Scholarship – Fall 

đź’° Award Amount: $1,000

Scholarship Provider: The Law Offices of Joseph J. Bogdan, LLC

The Law Offices of Joseph J. Bogdan, LLC offers this scholarship to support the education of a student pursuing a healthcare career requiring a professional license.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program through at least Fall 2024.
  • Applicant must intend to earn a degree that helps them qualify for professional healthcare licensure.
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

11. Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship

đź’° Award Amount: $1,500

📆 Deadline: 8/1/2024

Scholarship Provider: Michael Moody Fitness

The Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, participation, and leadership in school activities and work experience and interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness-related fields. The program will accept scholarship applications until 1,000 scholarship applications are submitted or August 1st, 2024, whichever comes first.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal resident living or claiming residency in one of the 50 states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico.
  • Applicant must be a current high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who plans to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Applicant must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement, participation, and leadership in school activities and work experience.
  • Applicant must demonstrate interest in pursuing a career and must be enrolled in a health-related major.

12. The Pro-Care Medical Track Scholarship

📆 Deadline: 7/1/2024

Scholarship Provider: Pro-Care Medical Center 

Pro-Care Medical Center wants to help a high school or college student studying to become a nurse, doctor, chiropractor, or another medical specialist on their journey by offering this scholarship.

đź“‹ Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a high school or college student.
  • Applicant must intend to major in a health-related field.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school or college-level GPA.
