In response to the Senate HELP Committee’s request for input on the reauthorization process for the Education Sciences Reform Act, TICAS urged Chairman Sanders and Ranking Member Cassidy to center racial and economic equity by improving postsecondary outcomes for all students — especially Black, Latino, Indigenous, and underrepresented Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students, as well as students from low-income backgrounds.
