Californians for College Affordability Coalition Letter on 2025-26 State Budget

[ad_1]

TICAS joined a Californians for College Affordability Coalition letter calling for state legislators to make key investments in the final 2025-26 California state budget. The letter highlights the importance of providing emergency grant aid to cover lost federal financial aid, funding financial aid offices and community-based organizations to conduct statewide financial aid outreach and application assistance, providing one-time funding to establish DREAM liaisons to support students from Mixed-Status Families, and ensuring that any University of California and California State University cuts target administrative costs over student support services and programs.
