As Congress considers the 2023 Farm Bill, TICAS urges Congressional leaders to adopt overdue reforms that treat education beyond high school at least equal to work and volunteering by removing restrictions on education beyond high school. This bipartisan opportunity to modernize the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will produce a greater likelihood of connecting SNAP participants to programs that lead to economic mobility and self-sufficiency.
